Is vatnode suitable for tax audit purposes?

Only the VIES consultation number counts as proof. Set your own EU VAT as the requester in dashboard Settings and every live check returns it — an EU Commission-issued reference that tax authorities recognize (see the validation section above). checkId is vatnode's internal identifier for the call, mainly useful for looking a specific check up with support — it isn't evidence by itself. verifiedAt is just an informational timestamp of when the check ran.
